What types of products should I see advertised on Facebook and Instagram, and what can I learn from them?

The majority of products advertised on these platforms are cheaper items, typically under $100 to a few hundred dollars, and very rarely multi-thousand dollar items. These are products that can be purchased on a whim without asking permission, without months of research, and without guilt. They’re easy impulse buys that give you a dopamine hit when you click ‘buy now’ and get that order confirmation. The key lesson: if these products keep showing up repeatedly in ads, it means they’re working - advertisers are spending money on them because they’re getting returns. As an artist, you should learn from this pattern and incorporate similar impulse-buy items into your own product lineup.
