Why is video content particularly important for showing artwork to potential buyers?

Buyers cannot visualize artwork the way artists can. They don’t understand size differences—the difference between 18x24 and 24x36 means nothing to the average buyer. They need to see the physical reality of the piece: you holding it, placing it on a wall, walking up to it, showing its depth and dimension. Video demonstrates what the work could look like in their space, over their couch, in their home. This tangible demonstration is what helps buyers make purchasing decisions. Static mockups help, but video showing you interacting with the physical piece provides the dimensional understanding that buyers need to commit. This is why video content consistently outperforms static images in bringing new people in and generating engagement.
