What three questions should every artist answer before Q4 to ensure they're ready?

First: Is your website actually set up to sell art? Can a total stranger buy from you without having to ask a single question? Second: Are you open for commissions? (And note: commissions are the most deadline-sensitive product you sell—you physically can’t sell a Christmas commission in December, so ‘order by November 1st for Christmas delivery’ becomes powerful urgency.) Third: Are you actively marketing your art? Is anyone actually coming to see it? Do these in order: infrastructure, then offer, then demand. You don’t drive traffic to a store that can’t check somebody out.
