I'm pricing per linear inch but an art academy is suggesting per square inch pricing that would cut my prices in half. Should I change my pricing strategy?
Don’t change your pricing strategy yet. The per-linear-inch method you’re using is valid and was recommended by a professional artist. The academy’s per-square-inch suggestion may be more appropriate for beginners, but that doesn’t mean it’s right for your situation. More importantly, your pricing isn’t the problem—your challenge is reaching the right audience. With very limited social media presence and followers, potential buyers simply aren’t seeing your work. Focus on marketing, audience growth, and building your online presence before adjusting prices. Give your current pricing time to work once you have proper visibility.
