How do I explain the differences between media types to buyers who aren't familiar with them?
Don’t assume buyers know anything—educate them from scratch. Show the physical sample, let them touch it if possible, and describe it in simple terms: ‘This is a canvas gallery wrap, ready to hang with a textured surface. This is metal, which is vibrant and glossy with a modern look. This is acrylic, thick and luxurious with depth and pop. This is wood, warm and natural with the grain showing through.’ Walk through the finish, thickness, edges, and how each one suits different styles. Make it conversational and clear. Your job is to remove all confusion so the buyer feels confident choosing what’s right for them.
