What do I need to start taking payments for my art?

Keep it simple. You just need a way to accept payment - a PayPal account, Venmo, Square, or even cash or checks sent to your house. That’s it. Don’t overcomplicate this with worrying about business bank accounts, business licenses, or complex payment systems when you’re just starting out. Get the product and a simple payment method, then go try to sell.
