Why do I only sell one type of work when I create multiple styles?

This is actually a positive sign of good marketing. What happens when you’re doing direct-to-consumer marketing the right way and building real connections with your audience is that collectors initially buy your most marketable niche. Over time, as they get to know you and trust you, they start buying your other work too—even styles that didn’t sell initially. You’ll always sell more of some things than others, but when you’ve solved the marketing problem and built genuine relationships with collectors, they become interested in your full body of work. This only happens when you’re doing great marketing and can only happen through direct-to-consumer relationships, not through traditional gallery models.
