When I show samples of my work, what details should I highlight beyond just the image itself?
Show and explain everything: the texture of the paper or canvas, the thickness and edges of wood or acrylic, the finish (glossy, matte, satin), how you sign your work (like a gold pen signature on originals), how the piece should be framed or mounted, the deckled edges on fine art paper—whatever makes your work special. Don’t assume buyers know these details. Walk them through it as if they’ve never seen art before. These details add perceived value and justify your pricing.
