I overlapped audio from a previous reel with new music in my latest reel. What went wrong?

When you reuse clips from a previous reel that contain audio, that old audio carries over. If the old audio has a rough, adventurous tone and your new reel uses calming, soothing music, the two don’t pair well together. Either mute all video clips so only your chosen song plays, or ensure the audio styles complement each other. Mismatched audio reduces the quality and cohesiveness of your reel.
