If I work in ceramics or 3D art, how should I handle POD and website product range?

Even if you primarily create ceramic work or other 3D art, having a website is essential. You need to get your name cemented into search engines on a URL you own so people can find you when they search for you or your type of work. The specific makeup of what’s on there—products, prices, how many items—can evolve and change over time. Don’t overthink that balance. If you have designs that can translate to other products (like turning ceramic designs into prints, shirts, or cards), you can include those. The website doesn’t have to be a single production line—it can show different types of work. The key is to get your website launched, get it indexed, and start marketing. You’ll learn what works through feedback. The most important thing is establishing your online presence that you own, then adjusting based on what actually sells.
