What's the fishing metaphor for live shows?
Live shows are like fishing. If your goal is to catch fish, the person who has a line in the water more often will likely catch more than the person who rarely fishes. If you plan for one big, perfect fishing day (one big art show) and on that day the fish aren’t biting, you’re out of luck. But if you’re throwing lines in the water constantly (doing thousands of live shows), you’re going to catch fish regularly because you’re there more often when they are biting. More live shows equals more opportunities, more chances that you’ll be broadcasting when the right people are watching and ready to buy.
